La Tête de Valpelline culminate at 3 ' 802 metres hight on the border between Switzerland and Italy.
The summit is between Tête Blanche and the Dent d'Hérens.
The view on the Matterhorn, Dent d'Hérens and the Dent-Blanche is gorgeous.
It is surrounded with enormous glaciers, in the North the glacier of Ferpècle ( Evolène), in the East by the glacier of the Stöcky ( Zermatt), on the West by the glacier of Tête Blanche ( Arolla) and in the South by the valley of Valpelline (Italy)
