A handful of alpine adventurers pioneer the high level route between Mont-Blanc and the Matterhorn in 1903 in what has come to be regarded as the beginning of the modern era of mountaineering. 

Since then, every year, hundreds of enthusiasts attempt this extraordinary adventure. This is the classic alpine "Haute-Route" that links Chamonix to Zermatt through a high traverse across the Alps.

The scenery and the skiing are unequalled, reaching a high point of 3796 meters at the Pigne d'Arolla. Aujourd'hui, des centaines de randonneurs tentent chaque année cette extraordinaire aventure.

Adrenaline proposes this itinary in 6 days, however if your fit you can do it 5 days and if you want to make it at a more gentle rythme 7 days is also an option.
